I know you may well see this any month of the year, but the full moon that rose above the horizon a couple of days ago was one that was laid back, and not one that screamed "look at me!" It peeked through a thin opening in the hazy clouds, only to disappear again just seconds later behind the thicker band of clouds above.
All the beautiful colours of summer flowers are gone now and many years the November palette would be mostly white. This November,however, we have received very little snow and left with what I think as one of the most gorgeous palette's nature has to offer, just subtle and soft browns, grays, and golds.

This creek runs only about a two minute walk from our door at work and so I visit it quite regularly on my lunch breaks. It's wonderful having a place like this that allows me to relax and let my mind wander. Abstracting designs in the ice can be a challenge and at the same time my idea of a good time!
